ButlerBuilds is one operator building sites and apps for a short list of clients. No account manager. No handoff between designer, developer, and copy help. You send a note; the person who reads it is the person who ships the work.

Agencies charge a premium for coordination. A studio of one skips that tax. Fewer meetings, fewer emails to nowhere, and one person who actually knows how your site is put together when something needs to change.
The trade
A short list
I take on a small number of active builds. If the calendar is full, I say so and give a real start date. If we're not a fit, I say that too. The point is a clean result, not a crowded roster.
Worldview, in one pass
Good work is a systems question first: what stays, what goes, what earns its place. The web rewards restraint. So does a business. I build sites that decide instead of decorate.
