ONE LESSON YOU SHOULD LEARN

Silence is the lesson; self-mastery is the goal.

The Quiet of the Self

Have you actually ever gave youself the time to sit down and listen to what you have to say? Not out loud, but in your head.

No, you don't need to hear yourself actually talk in your head—though some do—you just need to experience what your subconscious is trying to tell you.

"The sound of silence" can be one of the loudest things you'll ever hear—or experience might be a better term for that.

Now, I bring this up because I'm an advocate for AI enhancing us as individual human beings and as a society, in general.

Ai/Self Mastery

Why is AI relevant regarding self-mastery?

AI is directly tied to one's own understanding of the self—and not enough people understand this—which is saddening with the future that's coming to us regardless.

As simple as this concept is—the fact is that we normalized surface-level interactions into our conditioning. The only way out—is in.

That's a basic understanding of the connection between AI and self-mastery.

ARI/IA = AI/IRA

  • Awareness
  • Reflection
  • Identification
  • Iteration
  • Action
  • Artificial
  • Intelligence
  • Is
  • Really
  • Awesome

Let's go a little in depth on this framework. The former, not the latter lol.

Awareness - This is where you need to look at your situation—in full—past, present, and future. Only then can you really get a grasp on the best choices you can make going forward.

Reflection - You saw everything consciously noticeable at this point; now we do the work. Look at what you want in the future—this is your north star—your Path to Consistency. Let it guide you, but don't let it control you. Think of it as a pathless path that changes due to circumstances that are almost certain to arise. Even if everything goes perfectly to plan, you could've missed the opportunity that would've made it perfecter—sorry—more perfecter*.

Identification - Now, we have your North Star—your Path to Consistency. Here, there are two main options that you always pull from—oftentimes—unconsciously. The Least Damaging Sacrifice (LDS), or the Highest Value Action (HVA). All your experiences have created a pattern, and your subconscious is the one in charge of telling you about it. But can you listen to yourself to this degree? Next time you get the chance, follow your intuition and see where it goes. If anything, you're training yourself to communicate with your subconscious—to learn about yourself.

Iteration/Invocation - Done thinking. Get it out of your head. Say it. Write it. Do whatever you need to do based on what you've just completed in the previous three steps. Writing a prompt? Leading a team? Recording a video? Coaching/guiding someone? Any or all lead to the final step.

Action - Press send. Do the dang thing. Thoughts without actions are wasted energy. Well, that's a bit of a stretch, so here: Think with composure–>Be the composer–>Orchestrate the pieces you've put together.

Do everything with ARI/IA, because you deserve to control your output.
